The REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemical substances) legislation has already entered into force in the European Union. This new approach to chemicals management will shift the burden of proof for chemical safety away from regulators and onto the chemical manufacturers and distributors — effectively stating, “no data, no market.” This means if you do not register your substances, you will lose the right to place these substances on the European market. The regime applies to all chemical substances, including those in finished products and articles. This will affect all parts of the value chain, influencing the decisions as to whether or not to continue the production or use of certain substances, particularly those substances of very high concern (SVHC). If you do not comply with REACH, then your business in Europe will be at an end.
REACH Representative SPRL provides representative services to non-EU manufacturers and producers of substances, preparations and products being imported into the EU.
We also provides services to businesses and companies who, because of the commercial sensitivity of particular information, wish to remain anonymous.
