How will REACH affect your exports to the EU?

Changes in chemical regulation and keeping your product on the European market

The REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemical substances) legislation has already entered into force in the European Union. This new approach to chemicals management will shift the burden of proof for chemical safety away from regulators and onto the chemical manufacturers and distributors — effectively stating, “no data, no market.” This means if you do not register your substances, you will lose the right to place these substances on the European market. The regime applies to all chemical substances, including those in finished products and articles. This will affect all parts of the value chain, influencing the decisions as to whether or not to continue the production or use of certain substances, particularly those substances of very high concern (SVHC). If you do not comply with REACH, then your business in Europe will be at an end.

Championing your interests

REACH Representative SPRL provides representative services to non-EU manufacturers and producers of substances, preparations and products being imported into the EU.

We also provides services to businesses and companies who, because of the commercial sensitivity of particular information, wish to remain anonymous.

Maintain your presence on the EU market with REACH Representative SPRL

Naming REACH Representative SPRL as your Only Representative (OR) will allow you to maintain control over REACH compliance issues for all of your customers throughout Europe. With REACH Representative SPRL, all your EU importers are viewed as downstream users and are released of all registration obligations under REACH. We give you the security of knowing that your regulatory affairs are in safe hands, leaving you and your custumers to focus on your business.

REACH Representative SPRL will represent your interests from day one

Starting with pre-registration, REACH requires businesses to share potentially sensitive information. To avoid disclosing your interests in a particular substance, you can appoint REACH Representative SPRL as your Third Party Representative (TPR).
